Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (DVD/Two-Disc Blu-ray + BD Live w/DVD packaging) [Blu-ray]
I know that this post may not be what most of my readers would expect. Most of the posts so far on this site have been football related. So why a Disney post? In short, my wife and I are huge Disney fans. We visited Disney World on our honeymoon and made several visits while living in Florida.
Snow White was the first major film from Walt Disney. Yesterday marked the release of the Diamond Edition of the movie. This edition comes with a DVD, a Blue Ray disc and multiple extra features.
Suzie and I just completed watching the movie. I am sure we will watch it again soon with the grandsons.
Consider these classic lines from the movie:
- Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who’s the fairest of them all.
- What do you do when things go wrong? Oh, you sing a song.
- Whistle while you work.
- Hi, Ho! Hi, Ho! It’s home from work we go.

I love the scene in the movie when the dwarfs are packing up after a day in the mine and they throw all their diamonds, rubies, and emeralds into their “vault” and they hang the key to the vault on a peg right outside the door to the vault. That’s my kind of humor.
