The 2009 football season did not turn out the way the Oklahoma Sooners had planned. The losses of Heisman Trophy winner, Sam Bradford and Jermaine Gresham began the season on a sour note. In the preseason, players were up for 21 national awards. None of those individual awards panned out, but the Sooners are still represented on All-American teams.
