- Dallas defeats the previously unbeaten Saints 24 to 17.
- I absolutely love what the New Orleans Saints have done for New Orleans and the state of Louisiana. If ever a team or city has needed something good to come from the connection of players and fans, it is New Orleans. Loved the pre-game piece by NFL network on Harry Connick Jr. an Drew Brees.
- The Dallas Cowboys came out of the chutes ready to play. The defense recorded 2 straight 3 and outs while the offense put points on the board.
- DeMarcus Ware 2 sacks and 2 forced fumbles. Big plays late for a big time player.
- Anthony Spencer, Mike Jenkins, Orlando Scandrick and the entire defense come up big against the best offensive team in the NFL.
- Tony Romo played superbly. Almost 65% completion percentage, 312 yards passing, 1 TD pass, 0 interceptions. Looked like a leader tonight.
- Miles Austin continues to earn the love of Dallas and NFL fans. 139 yards, the early big TD and a clutch catch and run late in the game.

- One would think that Flozell Adams would tire of all of the unnecessary penalties and fines. He even knocked Marion Barber into the goal post to celebrate Barber’s 1st quarter touchdown.
- Dallas must get a new field goal kicker. Nick Folk has to knock in a chippee that late in the game. The NFL Network showed his pre-game warmup kicks. Let’s just say that it wasn’t an impressive showing.
- Roy Williams continues to prove that he is a highly overpaid #3 receiver at best. 1 catch for 14 yards. One key drop late in the game. When will he back up all of his talk with a great performance.
New Orleans is not 13-1. Dallas is now 9-5 (1-2 in December 2009).
