Hey! That’s a nice one. I’m not exactly envious, but would probably have enjoyed joining you on your fishing trip! I’m a fisherman, from way back! By the bye, is that a Mackerel or a Tuna? I know they’re in the same family. Hope you got to enjoy eating it. If it was a Mackerel, all you need to do to make it taste almost exactly like tuns,is to remove the dark part of the fish-flesh (a long the lateral line) soak the remainder in 1/2 water and 1/2 lemon juice [with enough to cover the fish completely] for about 1/2 hour covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator. Then cook it as you like… broiled, fried, or baked, or however, it’ll be great!

Melvin, I’m not much of a fisherman. This one was a bonito. We let him go back. Our companion caught a larger tuna. That will be dinner this week.
