  • A U.S. soldier in Afghanistan had some Bibles in Afghan languages sent to him.  After a media alert, the military confiscated the Bibles and had them destroyed.  It is illegal in Afghanistan to convert from Islam.  In fact, in 2006 a man who had converted to Christianity was sentenced to death for apostasy.  He was later allowed to leave the country after an international outcry.  General Order #1 for the U.S. Central Command forbids troops from trying to convert people to another religion.
  • Jonathan Dodson sheds helpful insight on how to interact with n0n-Christians over at Resurgence.  He details the following actions:
    1. Eat with non-Christians
    2. Walk, don’t drive
    3. Be a regular
    4. Hobby with non-Christians
    5. Talk to your c0-workers
    6. Volunteer with non-profits
    7. Participate in city events
    8. Serve your neighbors

    5. Signed into law a bill to fix the “birth control” price crisis.
    6. Increased “family planning” spending by $7 million while reducing abstinence programs by $14 million.
    7. Provided $30 million to international “family planning” programs.
