Hidden Fore-Edge Paintings on Old Books

This is for all of my fellow bibliophiles out there. Have you ever seen an old book that features a fore-edge painting? I have not, but it is now on my bucket list.

Apparently beginning around 1650, some books were adorned with beautiful paintings that are only visible when the pages are slightly bent together.
