If you, like me, enjoyed The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, then you will want to catch the prequel to that series.  The Hobbit will take you back to the beginning.

Years ago I enjoyed reading J.R.R. Tolkien’s book on which this movie is based.  If you haven’t read it, you can get a copy – The Hobbit.

    I can’t wait for the prequel, especially after being an admirer of the story since I listened to it for the first time as child; I will never forget their illustrations in my little record book. With the LOTR movies being the biggest of their time, it’s almost torture waiting on the “The Hobbit”, which won’t be any different. Now I think the main difference is the consecutive shooting style of Jackson; these days it seems rare.
