Image for concierge

During my days of hotel work, I often served as a concierge. Guests would ask for recommendations to local points of interest. These points might be things to do, attractions to see, or places to eat.

Concierge is a feature that points to destinations online. This edition points to some videos that should prove profitable.

Rachael Denhollander

This first video is from the victim impact statement of Rachael Denhollander. Denhollander had reported the sexual abuse perpetrated by Dr. Larry Nassar. He was convicted and then sentenced to a massive sentence.

What makes this video pertinent is how wonderfully she proclaims the gospel to the one who abused her.

John Piper

This five minute video from John Piper should set your heart aflame for spending time with the Lord in prayer.

Grace Fellowship Church, Toronto

When I preach and teach at my local church, I know that I am speaking to many folks who have come to us from many and sundry places of the globe.

This 3+ minutes video shows various members of a church in Toronto reading from the Bible in their native tongues. I would love to be able to do this at our church, but am technologically challenged.

John MacArthur

John MacArthur speaks for a little more than 3 minutes and teaches us what are the irreducible elements of the gospel.

Steve Wellum

Steve Wellum teaches theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In this video he takes about 7 minutes to address the question about whether there are degrees of rewards and punishment in heaven and hell.
