The Thankful Tree

Every day we would write what we were thankful for on a leaf and then tie it to one of the branches.

The Thankful Tree

My daughter-in-law is a wonderful wife and mother. She is also very crafty. I know that the Thanksgiving holiday is behind us, but wanted to share Amanda’s new tradition for reminding her family of the many blessings God has given to them.

Everyday, leading up to Thanksgiving, a blessing would be written on a leaf and added to the tree. As the holiday nears, the tree has grown with the daily added leaves. Amanda also noted that walking by the tree throughout the day served as a reminder of these blessings.

I love this and am thankful that we have been blessed by Amanda being added to our family. As a result of being blessed by her, we have been blessed by a beautiful granddaughter, Emma and another granddaughter on the way. God surely is good.

  1. Frank, you are so sweet to say such nice things. I am definitely the blessed one for marrying into your family. I truly believe that GOD brought your son and I together and could not imagine my life without him. Love to you and Suzie!
