Grace to Blush

Blush, sinner, blush! Oh, that thou hadst grace to blush!

–John Bunyan

John Bunyan’s exclamation in the 17th century is extremely applicable now in the 21st century. It has been said that we have even forgotten how to blush. We tend to live life in a manner that knows no shame. In fact, we fulfill the Scriptures by glorying in our shame.

Sadly this duckling would only live for about five minutes after this picture was taken. A heron snatched him up carrying him a short distance away before swallowing him.

“Before the Catch”

Seconds after I snapped this photo, the pelican dove into the water. He emerged with a fish in his gullet.

Teaching at FirstBoynton

IMG_2755_2This is me on April 9th doing what I love doing – teaching God’s people. Thanks to the folks at FirstBoynton who actually show up to learn together. This particular session centered on the theology problems in the church which led to the Protestant Reformation.

P.S. Before I get any comments on the shirt, remember that it is South Florida.
