The Baptist Catechism Q2

Charleston Association, 1813

Question: Ought every one to believe there is a God?

Answer: Everyone ought to believe there is a God; and it is their great sin and folly who do not.

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
(Hebrews 11:6 ESV)

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds,
there is none who does good.
(Psalm 14:1 ESV)
